Assyriology professor Paul Delnero was recently quoted in an article published by The New Yorker, an American weekly magazine that has a circulation of over one million people. The article, titled “The Struggle to Unearth the World’s First Author,” discusses the possibility that Enheduanna, a high priestess and daughter of King Sargon, was the world’s first recorded author.
