The Department of Near Eastern Studies at Johns Hopkins presents a public lecture by Michael Kozuh, the Jane Dickson Lanier Professor of History at Auburn University, titled “‘The People of Sumer and Akkad Had Become Like Corpses’: Nabonidus, Cyrus, and Babylonian Political Institutions in 539 B.C.E.” The lecture will take place in Gilman Hall 130G on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 5:30 pm.
