We are pleased to share that Dr. Alice Mandell’s article, “Word Craft in the Ancient Levant: Craft-Literacy as the Intersection of Specialized Knowledge,” published in Maarav 27.1–2 (2023), has been awarded the Fredson Bowers Memorial Prize by the Society for Textual Scholarship. This prize honors the author of the most outstanding essay in textual scholarship during the past two-year period.
