The Department of Near Eastern Studies is proud to announce the recent publication of the volume “Joueuses!”

Co-directed by Dr. Marie-Lys Arnette, an Assistant Professor and the Alexander Badawy Chair in Egyptian Art and Archaeology at Johns Hopkins, this volume is the 56th issue of the French biannual historical journal Clio. Femmes, Genre, Histoire which specializes in women’s social history and gender history.
