Department Lecture: Frank Simons

Dr. Frank Simons, a post-doctoral fellow in Assyriology at Trinity College Dublin, will be giving a lecture this Tuesday (April 30th) from 5-6:30 in Gilman 130G (the Near Eastern Studies Seminar Room), entitled: "The Mesopotamian Incantation Series 'Shurpu': Ritual Burning at the Intersection of Magic and Medicine".
